James and Jane had their banns published on the 29th April and the 6th & 13th of May 1804 by M Evans the curate of Kirdford,who also married them there on the 24th May.the witness`s were Mary Sopp,Elizabeth Downer and John Durrant the latter two signing with their mark.James and Jane Belchamber had seven children who were James bapt.June 2,1805,Elizabeth bapt.July 24,1808 and John bapt.October 27,1811 all were born in Kirdford.William was born May 18 and bapt.June 26,1814 in Wisborough Green,Sussex,then Edward born June 11 and bapt.July 14 1816 also in Wisborough Green,Mary bapt.May 16,1819 in Alfold,Surrey then finally Ann bapt.1823 on the 9th of November in Wisborough Green.

James Jnr.married Mary Denyer,Elizabeth married John Lee born Woking 1804 on the 5th October 1834 at St.Marys church, Guildford.Their banns were read on the 14th,21st and 28th of September.John and Elizabeth both signed the register.Witness`s were Michael and Sarah Waters and James Greenfield.In the 1881 census John and Elizabeth were living in the High Street,Windlesham,Surrey with one son Edward aged 23 a Carpenter and two grandchildren Edwin(aged 11) and Kate(aged 8) Angell.John aged 77 was a farm bailiff and Elizabeth was 72 years of age.

There are no marrages for William,Edward or Ann at the moment.Mary married Luke Town in Wisborough Green in 1841 on the 6th August.
